The John Schofield Trust is now accepting applications for its 2014 mentoring scheme.
If you are journalist with between two and five years’ experience, working as either as an employee or freelance, you have until 31 January to submit your application.
The pioneering mentoring scheme pairs around 25 young broadcast and online journalists with a mentor for one year. Some of the mentors – chosen from among the best journalists in the industry – were announced last November at the Trust’s annual reception.
The final list of mentors – made up of top correspondents, producers and editors – will be announced shortly.
