John Schofield was working at BBC Radio 4’s The World Tonight when he was killed on 9 August 1995 by Croatian soldiers close to the border between Bosnia and Croatia. He was 29.

The Trust aims to create a lasting memorial to John’s work and character by supporting new journalists.
